NZIQS promoted quantity surveying as a career to school leavers in the July issue of the 'Next Steps' magazine. This magazine was distributed with the NZ Herald and sent to every school in NZ.

The feature included profiles of Auckland Councilor Grant Browne and NZIQS Young QS leader Leah Gartner.

The distributors of Next Steps have also included a page about NZIQS and quantity surveying on their School Connect website.
