NZIQS Movie Evening: Maurice and I
The movie is called "Maurice and I" and it will have relevance to anyone in the construction industry in the greater Christchurch area.
The film covers:
• formation and work of the Warren and Mahoney architectural firm
• the construction of the Christchurch Town Hall, including details of the original architectural competition
• the Canterbury (February) earthquake, and the effects on the various buildings in Christchurch, and in particular the Town Hall
• the rebuild of the Town Hall including the efforts by so many people to get the project over the line
As the film begins at 6:00pm, please arrive by 5:45pm at the latest.

Prior to the movie, we have booked a space at Cassels; this begins at
4:30pm. Drinks are at members' own cost, nibbles will be provided by NZIQS.
