Retired Members of NZIQS

If you retire from quantity surveying work, you can use the post nominal that shows the level of membership from which you retired. 

What's the definition of a Retired Member?

A Retired Member is a person who:

  • has been a Member (MNZIQS), Associate (ANZIQS) or Fellow (FNZIQS) and 
  • has retired from quantity surveying and no longer does quantity surveying work (but may be active in another career).

As a Retired Member you can use the post nominals MNZIQS (Retired) if you were a qualified member, ANZIQS (Retired) if you were an Associate Member, or FNZIQS (Retired) if you were a Fellow.
