Effective and reliable means to dispose of sewage and stormwater coupled with the growing demands of population and urban growth have led to a wide range of site-specific design solutions for high-risk properties. Naturally, there is now a strong appetite among planners, designers, installers and owners for good science and guidance about the solutions at hand.
The Building Interest Group (BIG) is facilitating an educational workshop on the subject with the aim of increasing awareness and demonstrating problem-solving tricks to the very people who need it – that is, all designers, surveyors, engineers, builders, plumbers and drainlayers, and building consent authority staff.
This workshop addresses best practice in these areas and is presented and facilitated by Bill Wright, a man whose wide experience and troubleshooting capabilities qualify him to present and lead the interactive discussion.
Bill is the director of WSquared Training & Consultancy which specialises in design and regulatory advice to practitioners and councils across the country. His familiarity with the subject and range of solutions will boost your current knowledge and ability to think it through!
Your presence at the workshop will earn you a certificate of attendance to attach to your training records and as evidence for CPD points. You will also get a workbook, and food and drink will also be provided to sustain you through the learning.
